Weaving : The Indigenous Women of Bolivia & Peru

Weaving is one of the oldest traditions in the world. It sits at the very core of the Quecha culture, shaping personal and regional identities, and acting as a form of inter-regional communication.

I found this simple act they performed to be graceful and dignified, where complex yet beautiful tapestries would be weaved in a prayer like manner.

Unperturbed and utterly focused upon their creation many of the clothes they wear are predominantly weaved.
