Spending over one year in a primary school in Brazil, four environmentalist discuss that when a child is given the freedom to discover their own voice, and guided by holistic practices that supports their health & wellbeing , they naturally become guardians of the environment.
So before the schooling on how to take care of the environment, the teachers show how important it is to build a meaningful relationship with the children, understand there differences, and how this on a larger scale impacts how children in general learn.
But it wasn’t a one sided relationship. The children, between 9-10 years of age, had something to teach and inspire within the teachers. It was a two-way relationship that then is reflected in this documentary I was grateful to capture.
